20/09/13:  The Rizzle Kicks Imaginarium

Producer: I was approached to Produce the Rizzle Kicks final tour imaginarium pop-up in Brighton, this was an especially important one as it was the last one of the tour and in their home town.

Rizzle Kicks Imaginarium

This consisted in managing the expectations of the band management, creating an on site pop up merchandise store, and co-ordinating with the producers on content including dressing the set, providing shop assistants, food vendors, photographer, actors and runner.

It was a very successful event, and both the bands management and record label were very pleased.

22/11/11:  Redbull -The Winged Boat Project

Producer: This was an event for the Redbull in house team in conjunction with German sculptor Ernst Handl.

Winged Boat

I was asked to provide support for the event in both a logistical capacity as well as an artistic one. The hull of a wooden boat was to be transformed by in-house teams using hammered brass and copper, which was then to be transported by hand to a public location where people were able to ‘burn’ in their own message of hope and positivity using pyrographic equipment.

Once this was accomplished it was then time to heave the boat on to its end to make the final sculpture.

28/09/10:  Diesel tattoo pop up studio

Producer: Diesel wanted a fully functioning tattoo studio in the window of their flagship Carnaby street store in London.  This included co-ordinating with Westminster council, providing tattoo artists, portable water systems, disposing of hazardous waste etc.

Diesel tattoo pop up store

The Diesel in-store tattoo parlour was the first in a series of challenges that asked music fans to be stupid and act on their obsession, with only the most fervent followers being rewarded, with an actual tattoo.

26/02/10:  A pier appears – Tiger Lucky 8

A pier appears

Executive Producer:

When Josef O ‘Connor approached me I had the idea to somehow re-create light that would have surrounded the burning of the West Pier, without the need for burning again(!) Tiger hosted eight events around the UK for the Chinese new year of the Tiger culminating with the Brighton event. It was an enormous success, and garnered nationwide press.
